How do I get the key on an Excel Geographical Map Chart to show more than 20 values in the key?
I have a map chart in Excel (2024) with quite a diverse amount of data, like in the following image:

The key on the right only shows the first 20 values in the dataset. I have more than 20 different unique values.
How do I get it to show all the values?

One workaround to this issue is to map the legend separately.
- Insert an extra helper column with the same data as your Legend (this can just be
=[@Column].
- Select your Value and Helper Columns and then insert a pie chart.
- Hide everything except the legend from the pie chart.
- Hide the legend on the map chart, and place your pie chart legend ontop.
Format it how you like.
