Two years ago, I installed Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) on my Windows 11 Professional machine. And then due to other pressing issues, I just forgot about it.
Last night, thinking that I didn't have Ubuntu installed on my WSL instance, I installed the latest version of Ubuntu. But then when I went to document what I had done, I discovered that I had already installed Ubuntu into WSL. I am irritated at myself.
The important thing is I am new at using Ubuntu on my Windows machine. I want to do some development in Ubuntu as well as continuing to do development in Windows. But I'm wondering if the two instances of Ubuntu will cause me problems? Should I remove the Ubuntu version from 2 years ago? And if so, how do I do that?
